IT STARTS WITH 3 MEETINGS:

DISCOVERY

We call our first meetings “Discoveries” because that’s exactly what they are, an opportunity for you to learn more about our business and philosophies as well as an opportunity for us to learn more about you and your financial goals. This meeting is a great time to tell us about your retirement dreams as well as any concerns that you have.

This could be the first and most important step to ensuring your financial security and peace of mind.

DIAGNOSIS

We conduct an income, investment, risk, and tax analysis for you, so you can see how your retirement story is unfolding. We will review the positive steps you have taken thus far to secure your retirement years as well as suggest any areas that could potentially use additional planning.

DEVELOPMENT

We design your comprehensive retirement strategy that is unique and customized to you that covers retirement income, tax planning, investment management, and estate and legacy planning. Then, we meet with you regularly to review your progress, make any necessary adjustments, and answer your questions. You also can log in to view your accounts anytime you’d like.

 

NEW CLIENT TIMELINE

At Cornerstone, we believe in taking the time to do things right. With that, we never rush through the process when creating a custom plan tailored to your unique financial situation and retirement goals. Our philosophy is to take the time to do all of your analyses properly and to give you the time to fully understand and be comfortable with any recommendations we have provided. You can expect this process to take about 4 to 6 weeks.

Below is a rough outline of what you can expect when meeting with us.

Discovery > 2 Weeks > Diagnosis > 2 Weeks > Development

This outline is flexible. We will work around your schedule and can adjust any meetings accordingly.

WHAT DOES BEING A CLIENT LOOK LIKE?

Once you become a client with us, you choose how often you would like to meet to review your plan. We call these meetings Periodic Reviews, where we meet with you periodically to discuss your plan according to your timeline. Typically Periodic Reviews are bi-annual but we are also happy to meet quarterly or annually if that is what you prefer. We love having our clients in our office for meetings, but we also offer meetings over Zoom or over the phone depending on your preference.

When you call our office during business hours, you will always speak with a member of our team, never a robot. If you call during the weekend or in the evening, you can expect to get a call back as soon as we are back in the office. Our client service and advisory teams view high-value service as the standard and that is what you can expect when becoming a client with Cornerstone.
